Mortgage Assistance

Indiana Homeowner Assistance Fund
(IHAF) Program

About:
The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority is now accepting applications for Indiana Homeowner Assistance Fund (IHAF). IHAF is a mortgage payment assistance program for eligible Indiana homeowners in all 92 counties experiencing a hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rental Assistance

Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance
(IERA) Program

About:
This program can provide up to 18 months of rental assistance to help cover past-due and ongoing monthly rent and utility payments for qualifying Indiana renters.

Important Note: Renters living in Hamilton County and Marion County (Indianapolis) are not eligible to apply for the IERA program. Households living in these areas must apply for rental assistance with their local municipality unless an eviction case has been filed, in which case renters may apply to IERA for the Eviction Diversion Program.
